Even though the student actors were older, how do you think they did at portraying teenagers?

featuredI thought the actors did a good job overall. I was most impressed with the actor who played Solomon. I thought he seemed the most "real", whatever that means. The least effective was the actress who portrayed Diwata. but that might have been the role she was playing.

At the risk of showing my age...I didn't know they weren't teenagers! All 3 did an excellent job. The key component for me was the body language. They each had very distinctive walks and mannerisms that helped remind me of their young age.
I also remember from the "talk back" that the director mentioned there are very few times when the characters don't interrupt each other. That was also very helpful in emphasizing their age. Only rarely do teenagers I know finish a complete thought.1 0
